this friction-lock laced-cord articulation of laminar armor is surprisingly useful.

It handily takes the place of rivet-and-leather articulation.

figured some of you might want to know how it was done.

edit:
HAH! I just noticed that I swapped out one set of laminae, right for left... and the damn things still hang and move just fine!
not at all bad for hand-made composite plate!
