glue used: Elmer's Craft-Bond spray-on contact cement

this was basically an exercise in upholstery. same methods (if more elaborate and requiring more skill) can be used to make car chair seat-covers.

ETA: damn... this load-carrying harness and belt is really starting to look good. I'm kinda sorry it will be covered by armor and never seen.

You may want to put a padded strip, or dispersion layer under the stitching on the shoulder pads, the weight of the other torso armor may cause it to dig into the shoulder blades and the soft spots around the neck.
